Hi, I’m Damian Chan, an Industrial Design student at Purdue University.

I’ve always been someone who likes to make things. Growing up, I was constantly drawing, building, taking things apart, and finding new projects to obsess over. That curiosity eventually led me to Industrial Design, where I found a way to combine creativity, technology, and hands-on problem solving.

To me, good design goes beyond making something look exciting. It should solve a real problem, simplify an experience, or improve the way someone interacts with the world around them. I especially enjoy the research and development side of the process—understanding a problem, exploring different directions, prototyping, and refining an idea until it feels resolved.

I’m particularly drawn to products where technology, transportation, and physical interaction come together.

Outside of design, you’ll usually find me playing hockey, behind a camera, flying RC aircraft and drones, 3D printing, or working on whatever new idea has caught my attention.
