RESCUE JET

Faster response when every second matters.

Beach rescues can lose critical time in rough surf or dangerous conditions. Lifeguards often must reach the victim before delivering flotation, increasing response time and risk.

RESCUER EXPOSURE

LIMITED ACCESS

OPPORTUNITY

Millions need aid, but the last mile remains one of the biggest challenges in humanitarian response.

Lifeguards enter the same hazardous conditions as the victim.

Rocks, currents, and surf can slow direct rescue.

KEY FINDINGS

Help often arrives only after the rescuer reaches the victim.

Deliver Flotation to the victim before the lifeguard arrives.

COMPARATIVE MATERIAL ANALYSIS

Handles collisions, drops, and rough rescue conditions without cracking.

Holds up against saltwater, fuel, oils, and harsh outdoor exposure.

UV-stabilized for outdoor durability, resists sun damage over time.

LLDPE combines high impact strength with low weight, resisting cracks and splintering from rocks or marine debris.

Lighter than fiberglass — reduces weight for easier handling and deployment.

SEAMLESS HULL

BUILT-IN BUOYANCY

Rotational molding produces a seamless, one-piece hollow with high impact resistance and built-in buoyancy. Its smooth, durable form makes it ideal for a safe, water-resistant rescue craft.

FINAL CAD MODEL

The rescue board is rapidly deployed and remotely guided toward the victim using its jet propulsion system.

Once it reaches the person, it acts as a stable, buoyant flotation platform with accessible handles for immediate support.

If needed, the board can then be driven back to shore or away from hazards such as rocks, strong currents, or waves, safely transporting the victim.

This device is not intended to replace lifeguards, but to extend their reach and response speed, increasing the chances of survival in critical situations.

Preliminary rescue metrics based on a 110 m deployment distance.
